We are pleased to announce the new Toshiba voice mail solution that provides standard voice mail features along with Unified Messaging capabilities at a very low price. This Unified Messaging system will enable users to receive voice messages via their email client in box screen on their PC. The new Strata Messaging system is offered on a hardware platform targeted for the small to medium business office. This system makes use of the Linux operating system based Unified Communication Application (LUCA) that connects via Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) trunks to any Toshiba CIX system equipped with an MIPU or GIPU interface.
The new LUCA Strata Messaging application will support from 2 to 8 voice mail ports, up to 400 mail boxes and will accommodate up to 300 hours of voice message storage. Messages can be deleted from either the telephone or PC. This Unified Messaging solution provides full synchronization of voice messages between the voice mail box and the email in box. When a message is deleted in one location it is also deleted in the other. This Unified Messaging application works with the Toshiba CIX40, CIX100 and CIX670 telephone systems.
